Basketball Game Preview: Tidehaven Tigers vs. Industrial Cobras

Tidehaven is 1-9 against Industrial since February of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Tidehaven Tigers will challenge the Industrial Cobras at 7:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Tidehaven is headed into Friday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 15th straight game dating back to last season on Monday. They took a 69-58 hit to the loss column at the hands of Columbus. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1579th, while the Cardinals are ranked 770th).

Meanwhile, Industrial ended up a good deal behind Rice Consolidated on Monday and lost 64-50. The Cobras haven't had much luck with the Raiders recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Tidehaven's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Industrial, their loss dropped their record down to 17-12.

Tidehaven came up short against Industrial in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, falling 45-33. Can Tidehaven avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
