Football Recap: Perry Commodores vs. North Baltimore Tigers
Perry was the 34-0 winner over North Baltimore when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Commodores were beaten by the Tigers 54-6 on Friday. The Commodores were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 34-0.
North Baltimore's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Luke Long led the charge by throwing for 223 yards and four touchdowns on only 16 passes, while also rushing for 101 yards and one TD on only six carries. Long got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 66 yards. Another back making a difference was Brody Walter, who rushed for 141 yards and a pair of scores on only 14 carries.
Perry's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for North Baltimore, their win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-0.
