Football Recap: Savannah Falls Short of Kearney in the Playoffs

Savannah and Kearney squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Savannah had to settle for second. They lost 24-0 to the Bulldogs. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Savages were not able to get on the board.

Aiden Knechtenhofer threw for 96 yards on seven of ten attempts. Zyler Snapp was his top target, picking up 40 receiving yards.

Savannah's defeat dropped their record down to 10-2. As for Kearney, the win keeps them at an undefeated 11-0.

Savannah does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Kearney, they will square off against Warrensburg at 7:00 p.m. on the 22nd.
