Softball Recap: Parkway Christian Takes a Loss

Monday just wasn't the day for Parkway Christian's offense. They came up short against the Cardinal Mooney Catholic Cardinals on Monday, falling 21-0. Having soared to a lofty 24 runs in the game before, the Eagles' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Parkway Christian saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Angleina Marchesi, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one double.

Parkway Christian now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Cardinal Mooney Catholic, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Coming up, Parkway Christian will square off against Southfield Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cardinal Mooney Catholic, they will head out to square off against Shrine Catholic at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Knights will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Cardinals surely won't give up without a fight.
