Basketball Recap: Trinity Makes It Six in a Row at Home

Trinity had won five straight home games and Owen Schlager did his part to make it six on Tuesday. The Trinity Shamrocks walked away with a 101-91 victory over the Boiling Springs Bubblers thanks in part to Schlager, who went 15 of 24 en route to 45 points along with five assists and three steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Trinity's points.

Another player making a difference was Liam Sexton, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 boards. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in rebounds.

Despite the loss, Boiling Springs still got an impressive performance from Ethan Yenser, who posted 25 points. Yenser's evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Riley Lucido, who earned 20 points.

Trinity's win bumped their record up to 15-4. As for Boiling Springs, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-7.

Trinity will head out to challenge Steelton-Highspire at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Boiling Springs, they will host Big Spring at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Big Spring will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Boiling Springs surely won't give up without a fight.
