Volleyball Recap: Homestead Find Success

The Homestead Broncos beat the Jackson Generals 2-0 on Thursday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Broncos.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Homestead took both sets by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-15.

Homestead found their leader in sophomore Karon Williams, who had 20 assists and five aces.

The victory got Homestead back to even at 8-8. As for Jackson, they dropped their record down to 2-7 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home.

Homestead didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-2 win against Coral Reef on the 10th. As for Jackson, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on MAST Academy at 4:00 p.m. on the 21st.
