Volleyball Recap: Elmwood Park Comes Up Short

Elmwood Park lost against Ridgewood back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Tigers fell 2-0 to the Rebels.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-11.

Landon Arreola paced Elmwood Park's offense, picking up four kills. Arreola were helped by David Platkowski and Jermayne Ruiz, who contributed four assists each.

Elmwood Park's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Ridgewood, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 16-3.

Coming up, Elmwood Park will take on Northtown at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Ridgewood, they will face off against Waukegan at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
