Softball Recap: North Linn Takes a Loss

North Linn fell victim to Benton and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 6-0 to the Bobcats. The Lynx's defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

North Linn's loss dropped their record down to 11-6. As for Benton, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Linn will square off against Alburnett at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Pirates' pitching crew has only allowed 3.1 runs per game this season, so the Lynx's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Benton, they will head out to face off against Marion at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
