Riesel and Crawford are an even 3-3 against one another since November of 2017, but not for long. The Indians will venture away from home to challenge the Pirates at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Riesel's offense hasn't had much luck over their past four games, but Friday's contest will give them a chance to turn things around.

Riesel managed to slip by Rosebud-Lott the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Indians were outmatched by the Cougars and fell 49-0.

Meanwhile, it may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Crawford ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They snuck past Marlin with a 27-21 victory. The win almost wasn't to be: the Pirates were down 21-7 in the second quarter.

The victory made it two in a row for Crawford and bumps their season record up to 5-1. As for Riesel, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.

Riesel strolled past Crawford in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 by a score of 21-7. Will the Indians repeat their success, or do the Pirates have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
