            Baseball Recap: Jefferson J-Hawks vs. Hononegah Indians        
        
		
        
        
            Jefferson fell victim to Hononegah and their airtight pitching crew  on Monday. They lost  7-0 to the Indians. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Indians this season, as they also lost their prior matchup  11-1  on Friday.
 Jefferson saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Rodney Rodriguez, who  went 2-for-4 with one  stolen base.
Jefferson is  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 3-13. As for Hononegah, they have  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won nine of their last ten games. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-14 record  this season.
 Jefferson will face off against Belvidere at 4:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. The Bucs will roll in looking for their  fourth straight  win, something the J-Hawks surely won't give up without a fight. As for Hononegah, they will take on Guilford at 4:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. The Vikings have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.47  runs per game on average), something the Indians will no doubt try to take advantage of.
