Basketball Recap: Northeast Comes Up Short

After soaring to 73 points the game before, Northeast was a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They took a blow against the Centralia Panthers, falling 75-28. The match marked the Bearcats' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Northeast's loss dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Centralia, with the victory, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-7.

Northeast will challenge Knox County at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Northeast is facing Knox County at the right time seeing as Knox County is stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Centralia, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Bowling Green at 7:00 p.m. on February 6th.
