George Jenkins entered their tilt with McKeel Academy on Thursday with eight consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with nine. They claimed a resounding 41-13 win over the Wildcats. The final result isn't all the surprising considering the Eagles' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked 56th, while the Wildcats are ranked 314th).

George Jenkins had a senior duo take command as Morgan Walsh picked up 200 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns and Daphne Goff threw for 254 yards and three TDs. Walsh was no stranger to the big play, connecting on a big catch that went for 65 yards.

One reason for the win was George Jenkins' imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for three sacks. In fact, those sacks all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Alivia Conticello.

George Jenkins pushed their record up to 10-1 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. As for McKeel Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. George Jenkins will take on Durant at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Cougars' defense has only allowed 10.3 points per game this season, so the Eagles' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for McKeel Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Winter Haven at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
