Basketball Recap: Concordia Lutheran Takes a Loss

Concordia Lutheran and Antonian Prep squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Concordia Lutheran had to settle for second. They were beaten by the Antonian Prep Apaches 56-29. The defeat continues a trend for the Crusaders in their matchups with the Apaches: they've now lost five in a row.

Antonian Prep found their leader in sophomore Kyzarriah Fox, who went 8-for-18 on her way to 17 points and eight rebounds. Fox's evening made it four games in a row in which she has scored at least 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Lilyanna Bacon, who went 5-for-7 en route to 10 points along with six boards and three steals.

Concordia Lutheran's loss dropped their record down to 20-12. As for Antonian Prep, the win (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 34-6.

As of now, neither Concordia Lutheran nor Antonian Prep have any future games scheduled.
