Basketball Recap: IMG Academy White Takes a Loss

IMG Academy White lost against Cardinal Mooney back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Ascenders had to suffer through a 76-39 loss at the hands of the Cougars. The Ascenders were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-19.

This is the second loss in a row for IMG Academy White and nudges their season record down to 0-2. As for Cardinal Mooney, they pushed their record up to 5-0 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Cardinal Mooney will challenge Imagine School at North Port at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. IMG Academy White will be paying especially close attention to the Cougars' matchup: after the Cougars face off against the Sharks, they'll take on IMG Academy White again at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
