Valley Oaks CES had lost five straight on the road, but on Friday they dropped their record down to 3-9 to make it six. They fell 14-9 to the Lakeview Charter Lions. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-10 back in April.

Sergio Rojas made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs. Another player making a difference was Miguel Hernandez, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one run and one double.
