Baseball Recap: Canyon Crest Academy Ravens vs. Escondido Cougars
Canyon Crest Academy extended their losing streak to four on Wednesday, dropping their season record down to 4-10-1 in the process. They lost 13-5 to the Escondido Cougars. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Ravens of the 9-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2017.
Ryan Rechs made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Another player making a difference was Andrew Carrilo, who went 4-for-5 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run.
The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Escondido beat Canyon Crest Academy by a score of 5-1 on Friday.
