Volleyball Recap: Galion Tigers vs. Clear Fork Colts

Galion was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Clear Fork Colts. The Tigers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Colts earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

The final score came out to 25-19, 25-21, 25-16.

Alandria Thomas paced Galion's offense, picking up six kills. Thomas got some help from CalLee Branstetter and her nine assists.

Clear Fork found their leader in freshman Brinly Epneris, who had 22 assists and 11 digs.

Galion's loss dropped their record down to 1-20. As for Clear Fork, their victory ended a six-match drought at home and bumped them up to 6-15.

Looking ahead, Galion will venture away from home to challenge Huron at 6:00 p.m. on the 16th. As for Clear Fork, they will welcome West Holmes at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
