Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Sudan). They claimed a resounding 90-57 win over the Lockney Longhorns. This was a revenge game for the Hornets: when they faced off against the Longhorns back in January, they had to take a 58-48 defeat.

Sudan's victory bumped their record up to 7-12. As for Lockney, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-15 record this season.

Sudan and Lockney could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. Sudan (ranked 1155th) will meet Farwell (ranked 356th) at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Similarly, Lockney will face off against Olton at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday down 1,052 places (1318 vs. 266).
