Baseball Recap: Wise Comes Up Short

Wise was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 11-4 to the Parkdale Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 20-6 back in March.

Wise saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Malik Debnam, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double. That double marked the first that Debnam hit this season.

Wise's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Parkdale, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-3.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Wise will take on rival Eleanor Roosevelt at 4:30 p.m. on the 22nd. Meanwhile, Parkdale is set to face off against their familiar foe Laurel on Tuesday.
