Volleyball Recap: R.J. Reynolds Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact R.J. Reynolds can now relate to. They lost 3-0 to the South Iredell Vikings on Saturday. The Demons' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it six in a row.

While R.J. Reynolds was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into South Iredell's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-13, 25-14.

R.J. Reynolds' defeat dropped their record down to 9-19. As for South Iredell, their win bumped their record up to 15-11.

As of now, neither R.J. Reynolds nor the Vikings have any future games scheduled.
