Softball Recap: Cypress Woods Comes Up Short

Cypress Woods managed to slip by Waller the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. Cypress Woods lost 9-1 to Waller on Friday. The Wildcats were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bulldogs earlier this season, when they won 8-6.

Peyton Wilkie made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run. That home run was her first of the season.

Cypress Woods dropped their record down to 10-12-1 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Waller, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-14 record this season.
