Heppner had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Thursday. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Stanfield Tigers. This was payback for the Mustangs, who suffered a 3-2 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Heppner's victory bumped their record up to 16-6. As for Stanfield, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. After both having extra time off, Heppner and Irrigon will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Stanfield, they will be taking part in a tournament against Echo at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
