Granbury extended their losing streak to six on Friday, dropping them down to 2-8. They were beaten by the Brewer Bears 34-7. While losing is never fun, the Pirates can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 839th, while the Bears are ranked 256th).

Austin Reeves threw for 83 yards on 12 of 18 attempts. Christopher Skinner was his top target, picking up 36 receiving yards. On the ground, Hunter Rodgers rushed for 46 yards.
