Volleyball Game Preview: Bryan Station Defenders vs. Sayre Spartans

The Bryan Station Defenders will face off against the Sayre Spartans at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with four defeats in a row, Bryan Station turned things around against Madison Central on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Indians with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Defenders not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since September 18th (when they won 3-0).

Bryan Station never let Madison Central on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-22, 25-17.

Bryan Station found their leader in sophomore Jojo Covington, who had 12 digs.

Meanwhile, Sayre beat Breckinridge County 2-0 on Saturday.

Sayre's win bumped their record up to 23-4. As for Bryan Station, the victory got them back to even at 14-14.
