Baseball Recap: Oak Hill Has No Trouble Against Margaretta

Oak Hill had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 12-run drubbing they dealt Margaretta on Tuesday. The Red Devils were the clear victors by a 13-1 margin over the Polar Bears. The Red Devils not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since March 19th.

Owen Grose was incredible, going 1-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Saylem Blake, who scored a run while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.

Oak Hill's win bumped their record up to 4-7. As for Margaretta, their loss dropped their record down to 3-7.

Looking ahead, Oak Hill will face off against Nicholas County at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Red Devils' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Grizzlies have averaged an impressive 7.1 runs per game this season. As for Margaretta, they are taking a road trip to face off against Woodrow Wilson at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Polar Bears' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Flying Eagles have averaged an impressive 8.4 runs per game this season.
