Tahoma picks up tenth straight win at home

Recap: Tahoma Bears vs. Lynden Christian Lyncs

On Saturday, Tahoma beat Lynden Christian 45-34. Despite the victory, that was the fewest points Tahoma has scored all season.

Brooke Deyak was the offensive standout of the contest as she scored six points along with five assists. Those five assists set a new season-high mark for her. The team also got some help courtesy of Kate Wooten, who scored ten points along with three steals.

Tahoma pushed their record up to 5-1 with that victory, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 36.3 points. As for Lynden Christian, they now have a losing record at 1-2.

Tahoma will take on Fairmont Prep in a holiday battle at 10:00 a.m. on Monday at. Lynden Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Mt. Baker at 7:15 p.m. on January 3, 2024.
