Football Recap: Pitman's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

Pitman made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Hughson, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Pride fell just short of the Huskies by a score of 24-21 on Friday. The loss continues a trend for the Pride in their meetings with the Huskies: they've now lost three in a row.

Despite the loss, Pitman still got an impressive performance from Rj Wilharm, who rushed for 108 yards, and also threw for 113 yards and one touchdown. Wilharm got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 59 yards.

Lawson Aviles was the offensive standout of the game as he rushed for 68 yards and one TD on only five carries. He didn't just play on offense: he also forced one fumble and made four total tackles.

Having lost for the first time this season, Pitman fell to 2-1. As for Hughson, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Looking ahead, Pitman will face off against Golden Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Hughson, they will take on Linden at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
