Basketball Game Preview: Mount Tabor Spartans vs. West Forsyth Titans

The Mount Tabor Spartans will take on the West Forsyth Titans at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Mount Tabor is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last three games.

Last Tuesday, Mount Tabor narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Parkland 56-54.

Mount Tabor found their leader in sophomore Brooke Cilento, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and 13 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Cilento has scored all season. Shaymiah Bailey was another key player, dropping a double-double with 16 points and 13 boards.

Mount Tabor was working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Parkland only posted seven assists.

Meanwhile, West Forsyth was able to grind out a solid win over East Forsyth on Tuesday, taking the game 45-36.

West Forsyth now has a winning record of 12-11. As for Mount Tabor, their victory bumped their record up to 8-14.
