After only two runs in their last game, Plato made sure to put some runs up on the board against Gainesville on Saturday. The Eagles put the hurt on the Bulldogs with a sharp 13-3 victory. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won 11 matches by eight runs or more so far this season.

Plato's win bumped their record up to 11-3. As for Gainesville, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 8-4.

Plato wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, an 11-2 victory against Liberty on the 12th. Gainesville has also already played their next game (against Hartville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
