Baseball Recap: Roosevelt Takes a Loss

Roosevelt lost against McDaniel on Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Roughriders came up short against the Mountain Lions, falling 15-9. The Roughriders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Landon Collar was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one double. That triple was his first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Mitch Geiger, who went 2-for-3 with three runs.

Roosevelt's loss dropped their record down to 5-19. As for McDaniel, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 11-11.

Roosevelt wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 6-3 win against Franklin on the 16th. As for McDaniel, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 4-3 victory against Jefferson on the 16th.
