Basketball Recap: DSST: Montview Comes Up Short

On Tuesday, the DSST: Montview Knights came up short against the DSST: College View Wolves and fell 68-57.

DSST: College View was led to victory by Isaias Tomita and Joshua Sosa. Tomita dropped a triple-double on 27 points, 11 assists, and 12 steals, while Sosa went 8 of 9 en route to 23 points in addition to five boards and four steals. The game was Tomita's fifth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Josue Tomita, who posted nine points along with five rebounds and three steals.

DSST: Montview's loss dropped their record down to 8-8. As for DSST: College View, they pushed their record up to 12-3 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

DSST: Montview will challenge DMLK at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in DSST: Montview's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last nine contests. As for DSST: College View, they will take on Bruce Randolph at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. DSST: College View is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 67 points per game this season.
