Volleyball Recap: St. Patrick-St. Vincent Bruins vs. Ripon Christian Knights

St. Patrick-St. Vincent had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Ripon Christian Knights on Thursday, sneaking past 3-2. Winning may never get old, but the Bruins sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

St. Patrick-St. Vincent wouldn't go down easily and took Ripon Christian into a fifth set where they got it done with a seven-point win. The final score came out to 25-9, 28-26, 22-25, 21-25, 15-8.

St. Patrick-St. Vincent found their leader in sophomore Jerita Pingol, who had eight digs and three aces.

Pingol wasn't the only good server: St. Patrick-St. Vincent was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 15 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in September.

St. Patrick-St. Vincent has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 18 of their last 20 games, which provided a nice bump to their 28-9 record this season. As for Ripon Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 20-17.
