Soccer Game Preview: Killeen vs. Bryan

The Killeen Kangaroos will take on the Bryan Vikings at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Killeen has given up an average of 3.4 goals per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week.

Killeen came up short against Midway on Friday, falling 5-1. The Kangaroos haven't had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Meanwhile, Bryan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of Midway. While losing is never fun, the Vikings can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 524th, while the Panthers are ranked 233rd).

Bryan's defeat dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Killeen, their loss dropped their record down to 2-12.

Killeen beat Bryan 4-2 in their previous matchup back in February. Does Killeen have another victory up their sleeve, or will Bryan turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
