Temescal Canyon hadn't done well against Elsinore recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Titans had just enough and edged out the Tigers 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Titans have posted since March 8th.

Temescal Canyon wouldn't go down easily and took Elsinore into a fifth set where they got it done with a four-point win. The final score came out to 21-25, 26-24, 25-23, 26-28, 15-11.

The victory made it two in a row for Temescal Canyon and bumps their season record up to 15-7. It's not like the team was facing easy opposition over that stretch either, as it included 8-5 San Jacinto (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 69.4% over those games). As for Elsinore, their loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 17-5.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Temescal Canyon will take on rival Tahquitz at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Elsinore is set to challenge their familiar foe San Jacinto at 5:15 p.m. on Friday.
