Recap: Greenville Tigers vs. Carroll Eagles
The Greenville Tigers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their 13th straight defeat. They suffered a tough 68-43 loss at the hands of Carroll. Greenville has not had much luck with Carroll recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.
Carroll's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Michael Culver, who scored 20 points. Another player making a difference was N'jia Gosha, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 13 rebounds.
Greenville has been struggling recently as they've lost 16 of their last 17 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-24 record this season. As for Carroll, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 20-6.
Greenville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Carroll, they will head out on the road to challenge Charles Henderson at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Charles Henderson knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past 12 contests -- so hopefully Carroll likes a good challenge.
