Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Warrenton). They never let the Portland Adventist Academy Cougars get on the board and left with a 20-0 win on Wednesday. With that victory, the Warriors brought their scoring average up to 6.2 runs per game.
Scarlet Anderson was a major factor no matter where she played. She pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in ten consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-5 with six RBI, three runs, and two doubles. Those two doubles gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, Warrenton let Lucy Smith and Natalie Pike run wild.
