            Flag Football Recap: Granite Bay Grizzlies vs. Folsom Bulldogs        
        
		
        
        
            After only 13  points in their last  game, Granite Bay made sure to put some  points up on the board against Folsom  on Tuesday. The Grizzlies blew past the Bulldogs 33-7. Considering the Grizzlies have won five contests by more than 25  points this season, Tuesday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Alyssa Poehlman was a one-woman wrecking crew as she rushed for 102 yards and one  score on only six carries, and also caught one  touchdown. Granite Bay also got help from  Camryn Savig, who showed off her sure hands for 86  receiving yards.
 They were just one part of a punishing run game: Granite Bay was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 280  rushing yards. That's the most  rushing yards they've managed all season.
 Granite Bay didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as  Mia Blankenship,  Hallie Tapuosi,  and  Savig picked up one apiece.

Granite Bay pushed their record up to 11-3 with the  win, which was their 11th straight  at home dating back to last season. The  home  victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 26.2 points over those games. As for Folsom,  they are  on  a  33-game losing streak  (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-19.
 We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Granite Bay is set to  challenge  their familiar foe Davis Sr.  at 7:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Meanwhile, Folsom will  take on  rival St. Francis  at 7:30  p.m.  on Thursday.
