Nottoway and Amelia County are an even 5-5 against one another since May of 2018, but likely not for long. The Cougars will head out on the road to challenge the Raiders at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

Nottoway can't be too happy about their upcoming road contest considering what happened when they opened their season away from home last Wednesday. They fell 3-1 to Randolph-Henry. Nottoway haven't had much luck with Randolph-Henry recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Meanwhile, Amelia County was able to grind out a solid victory over Buckingham last Wednesday, taking the game 3-1.

Isaac Monge and Abraham Zuniga scored all three of the Raiders' goals, bringing their combined season tally to five goals.

Nottoway might still be hurting after the 9-1 loss they got from Amelia County when the teams last played back in April of 2024. That match was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Cougars were down 5-1.
