Colonel Richardson were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Kent Island apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Colonel Richardson's loss dropped their record down to 3-3-1. As for Kent Island, they now have a winning record of 3-2-1.

Colonel Richardson will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Kent County at 5:30 p.m. on October 6. As for Kent Island, they will head out on the road to challenge Parkside at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Parkside's defense has only allowed 0.2 goals per game this season, so Kent Island's offense will have their work cut out for them.
