Basketball Recap: Tucker Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Tucker took on Southwest DeKalb on Tuesday. The Tucker Tigers were dealt a 62-33 defeat at the hands of the Southwest DeKalb Panthers. The loss continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now lost four in a row.

When it comes to explaining why Tucker lost, don't look at Harmonie Cooper. Despite the final result, she posted 23 points.

Tucker's defeat dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Southwest DeKalb, their win bumped their record up to 13-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tucker will challenge Lithonia at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Southwest DeKalb, they will head out on the road to challenge St. Pius X Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
