Baseball Recap: Telstar's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

If Telstar was feeling good fresh off their 8-0 takedown of Hebron Academy last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Rebels fell 9-6 to the Waynflete Flyers on Wednesday. The loss put an end to the Rebels' undefeated start to the season.

Brody Walker made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 4-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. Walker is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's snagged at least one every time he's taken the field this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Telstar fell to 2-1. As for Waynflete, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Telstar and Waynflete will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Rebels are set to take on their familiar foe Carrabec at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Waynflete will square off against rival Old Orchard Beach at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
