Volleyball Recap: Limon Comes Up Short

Limon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Peyton Panthers. The Badgers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Panthers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-13, 23-25, 25-22, 25-14.

Brynlee Ray was nothing short of spectacular for Peyton: she had 26 digs and two aces. That's the most digs Ray has posted since back in August. Kinsey Hall also deserves some recognition as she had her first dig of the season.

Limon's loss dropped their record down to 1-19. As for Peyton, with the win, they broke their three-match losing streak and moved their record to 8-14.

Limon has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Sargent on the 1st. As for Peyton, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Evangel Christian Academy on the 1st.
