Basketball Recap: Senedot Stripes Takes a Loss

Senedot Stripes lost against Gilead Christian back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Senedot Stripes fell 46-36 to the Gilead Christian Eagles.

Gilead Christian got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Aden Wagner out in front who posted seven points in addition to six assists and five boards. With that strong performance, Wagner is now averaging an impressive 2.1 steals per game. Another player making a difference was Talan Blankenship, who went 7 for 13 on his way to 16 points.

Senedot Stripes' defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Gilead Christian, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-3.

Senedot Stripes won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Bowling Green Christian Academy at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Gilead Christian, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Gospel Haven Academy at 7:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
