Roxbury is 8-1 against Morristown since October of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Gaels will take on the Colonials at 6:30 p.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Roxbury is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering West Morris Central just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Friday. They were dealt a 34-3 loss at the hands of the Wolfpack. While losing is never fun, the Gaels can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey football rankings (they are ranked 94th, while the Wolfpack are ranked 33rd).

Meanwhile, Morristown ended up a good deal behind Morris Knolls on Friday and lost 27-13. The Colonials haven't had much luck with the Golden Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Morristown's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Roxbury, their loss dropped their record down to 5-3.
