Brant Beck Turns in Season-Best Performance
Brant Beck produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Rochester to the win on Friday. Beck's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 109 rushing yards dating back to last season.
Northfield's probably not too fond of Beck given he always seems to get the better of them. Beck rushed for 179 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries the last time he and the Norsemen duked it out back in September of 2023.

Sims Posts Huge Game in 42-21 Victory
Maconaquah picked up their fifth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Marcell Sims. Sims turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 92 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries.
Maconaquah pushed their record up to 6-0-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Sims and Maconaquah will challenge Wabash at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Big Game from Korba As Peru Won 28-14
Isaiah Korba was a major factor in Peru's victory over Southwood on Friday. Korba did his part (and then some), rushing for 121 yards and a touchdown on only 15 carries for the 'W'.
On the year, Korba has run in 8 touchdowns while averaging 142.5 rushing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he had one rushing touchdown.

Reiss Gaerte Delivers Best Effort of Season
Manchester was led to victory by Reiss Gaerte, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Gaerte rushed for 108 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries. The performance marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in October of 2023.
Whitko had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Gaerte it was a similar story. When Gaerte last faced the Wildcats back in October of 2023, he rushed for 311 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 10.0 yards per carry.

A Season-Best Effort from Fuddy Kile Leads Maconaquah over Lewis Cass
On Friday, Maconaquah got the W thanks in part to Fuddy Kile playing the best football he has all season. Kile picked up 166 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He showed off some serious burst, cutting upfield on a catch for 54 yards.
Unfortunately for Lewis Cass, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Kile. When Kile last faced the Kings back in September of 2023, he picked up 213 receiving yards and four touchdowns.
