Basketball Recap: Western Guilford's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Wednesday

It was fun while it lasted, but Western Guilford's undefeated season came to an end after six games on Wednesday. They lost 82-59 to the West Forsyth Titans. The Hornets were not able to make up for their defeat to the Titans from their previous meeting back in December of 2023.

Despite the loss, Western Guilford still got an impressive performance from Seth Harris, who dropped a double-double on 29 points and 11 boards. The matchup was Harris' fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Michael Crespo, who posted 11 points.

Having lost for the first time this season, Western Guilford fell to 6-1. As for West Forsyth, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.

Western Guilford didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 57-51 victory against Page on the 13th. As for West Forsyth, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 75-35 win against Parkland on the 13th.
