Basketball Recap: Dewar Comes Up Short

On Friday, the Dewar Dragons came up short against the Little Axe Indians and fell 63-50.

Dewar has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 13-5 record this season. As for Little Axe, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-9 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dewar will square off against Riverfield Country Day at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Riverfield Country Day is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 58.1 points per game this season. As for Little Axe, they will challenge Davis at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
