Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask George Washington Prep). They were the clear victors by a 42-30 margin over the Hawkins Hawks on Monday. Considering the Generals have won five games by more than 11 runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

George Washington Prep got a massive performance out of Emily Varela, who got on base in all seven of her plate appearances with three stolen bases, three runs, and four RBI. With that strong performance, Varela is now averaging an impressive 1.1 stolen bases per game. Michelle Barrientos was another key player, scoring five runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in all seven of her plate appearances.
