Soccer Recap: Winnetonka Takes a Loss

If Winnetonka was feeling good fresh off their 6-3 takedown of Ruskin on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Griffins fell just short of the Raytown South Cardinals by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday. Winnetonka were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Raytown South apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2025.

Winnetonka's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Raytown South, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-10-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Winnetonka will venture away from home to face off against Kearney at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Raytown South, they will challenge Center at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
