Joseph Hardman and Jonas Nichols secure win for Archbishop Hoban

Recap: Archbishop Hoban Knights vs. Firestone Falcons
The Archbishop Hoban Knights waltzed into their game Saturday with 12 straight wins dating back to last season but they left with 13. Everything went their way against Firestone as Archbishop Hoban made off with a 60-36 victory. With Archbishop Hoban ahead 36-13 at the half, the game was all but over already.
Archbishop Hoban was led to victory by Joseph Hardman and Jonas Nichols. Hardman scored 15 points along with five rebounds, while Nichols dropped a double-double on 17 points and 12 rebounds. Joshua Greer was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Archbishop Hoban's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Firestone, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-5.
Archbishop Hoban will head out on the road to face off against John F. Kennedy Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully John F. Kennedy Catholic focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up ten on Friday. As for Firestone, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against East at 7:00 p.m.
